Welcome to those of you joining me from Ideally Disney and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail. I’m visiting from Magical Blogorail Green today, and I’m talking about family traditions. I have had the pleasure of joining two of my brothers (Jack and Mickey), sisters-in-law (Sally and Minnie), and nephews (Mordie and Ferdie) on three trips now, in 2008, 2011, and this past April. Although there are unofficial traditions I love, such as me scolding the boys for something and Jack doing it, or Jack mocking the boys for doing something and then me pointing out that I did it, to my one of the most precious traditions is Boma. Now, if you know me, you will know that I love Boma. Anyway, everytime we’re together, we go to Boma.
It’s fun. The first year, my nephews mainly ate mac and cheese (Ferdie run on the stuff) and they balked at Zebra domes because they contained alcohol. The second, they were more daring (Mordie puts hot sauce on his hot sauce). This past year, Ferdie ate all the fish he could alongside his mac and cheese. We talk and snark. As the years go by, the jokes and conversation change, but it’s always nice.
For those of you who are new to my site, I talk a lot about being a PANK, and I think this tradition exemplifies why.
Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Disney Babies Blog.
